Statistics & Game Timer

I am a nerd who enjoys looking at the statistics. Phasmophobia has a great statistics feature that tells you a plethora of details about the game you have just played, as well as your total statistics since you first started playing! It's because of this that I decided to add stats to my own games.

Some of the statistics help to allude to achievements that are available in the game. One of these is the fastest escape time, which I added because of my love of speedrunning! I needed to add a default placeholder time, so I went for the meme numbers 😹

One of the tabs visible is "Anomalies", which is a chronological list of the discovered anomalies, and allows you to track your progress towards one of the achievements in the game; Find All Anomalies. Talking about achievements...

Achievements

There are currently a total of 8 achievements in HANGAR 8, bet you can't guess why I chose that number. Without spoiling too much, I will say that I chose the achievements in a way that would be able to track the progress of the player. Some achievements will be gained after you have successfully escaped the space station for the first time, while others will require you to have explored every anomaly in the game.

All achievements are viewable in-game, within the "Extras" menu.  Initially they are hidden, but once you have unlocked the achievement the icon will be revealed. Hovering over the achievement when it's unlocked will display a tool-tip of it's description.
